📅 Contract Details:
- Salary: £20 per hour
- Duration: 4-6 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP (targeting late next week)
Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless running of administrative processes. You'll assist with job description reviews and coordinate with the Advisory Appointments Committee (AAC), ensuring everything runs smoothly!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Professional Standards team
- Support the job description review process and AAC service
- Manage shared inbox queries, ensuring requests are logged, tracked, and responded to accurately
- Maintain clear records, trackers, and audit trails for compliance and transparency
- Chase and follow up on missing information from stakeholders
- Monitor progress against deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Escalate complex or sensitive queries appropriately
Additional Duties:
You'll also have the chance to support wider Professional Standards activities, such as:
- National clinical audits and surveys 📊
- Audit template libraries
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Guidance and consultation projects
This may involve:
- Maintaining trackers and databases
- Collating and organising information
- Preparing routine correspondence
- Updating records and supporting team coordination
Key Skills & Experience:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in healthcare, professional standards, or a similar environment
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Comfort in managing shared inboxes and stakeholder queries
