Temporary Administrator - South Tyneside



📍 Location: South Tyneside (free on-site parking, close to public transport links)
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm/9am - 5pm
💷 Pay: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
📄 Contract: Temporary - to start ASAP, ongoing contract, minimum 3 - 6 months



About the Role


We're looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join a busy and friendly office team in South Tyneside. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a welcoming group of colleagues while developing your skills in a professional environment.


You'll play a key role within this busy team, providing administration and support to ensure everything runs smoothly. Training and support will be provided.



Key Responsibilities



  • General administration and office support

  • Handling emails, correspondence, and document management

  • Supporting colleagues with ad hoc tasks

  • Using IT systems confidently to input and manage information

  • Providing support services to the training team

  • Ordering stationery and PPE, coordinating events, booking room



What We're Looking For



  • Previous administration experience

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)

  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills

  • Positive, team-focused attitude

  • Experience supporting customers and using MS Outlook to manage calendars

  • Knowledge of SharePoint or CMS systems (beneficial, training provided)
