As part of their continued growth, they're looking for an Operations Coordinator to join a positive, forward-thinking, and collaborative team.
The Role
Reporting to the senior operations coordinator you will help to provide support to the busy production and wider office teams. To provide operational support to all areas of the company, to ensure all company critical deadlines are met for both the company and the customer. Working closely with the Production Team to provide a service which allows them to deliver and meet their own deadlines. Supporting the Health & Safety agenda and striving for excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Manage reports, league tables and communications in a timely manner
- Manage the local product sales
- Management of label confirmation, generation, communicating with production and customers
- Communicating with the sister company to advise on orders that are complete and can be despatched
- Collation and the distribution of reports and information in a timely manner
- Generation of goods in and production work orders for the next day
- Complete daily plan using information from multiple sources
- Document control for work orders once complete
- Work closely with the operations manager to organise production planning and staff numbers allocated to specific work areas
- Generation and delivery of analytical production data to the Senior Management Team
- Manage the sales via telephone and email to ensure customer requirements are met and all internal communications are carried out
- Oversee the management and control of all PPE including preparing for new starts
- Support production of management processes and information
- Manage DHL bookings and collections
- Assist with administration and management of privately let properties
What We're Looking For:
- Strong IT skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent numeracy skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and self-motivate
- A quick learner
- Ability to build relationships across all areas of the business and can listen and learn the needs of the team.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and 'can do' approach, who is open to new challenges and welcomes challenge to improve and build knowledge of the business
- The ability to identify improvements and put forward recommendations to improve efficiencies.
