Office Manager
£35,000 per annum
Grays, Essex
Monday -Friday, 8am-5pm
*MUST drive and have access to a vehicle
Are you an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? This is an exciting opportunity to become the face of a dynamic and expanding construction company, where no two days are the same!
Duties:
- Supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
- Based on the front desk, meeting and greeting clients and anyone entering the building
- Answering the reception phone and transferring calls internally and externally.
- Attending meetings with senior management and taking minutes
- Accepting, signing and checking deliveries
- Attending the Crawley office weekly to ensure everything running smoothly
- Checking, monitoring and ordering stationery for the office
- Organising meetings and managing databases
- Booking accommodation for staff when needed
- Preparing letters, presentations and reports
- Binding documents when requested and printing drawings
- Managing office budgets
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
- Inducting new employees and familiarising them with the plan of the building
- Dealing with complaints and queries professionally
- Using a range of software packages
- Liaising with external Web Designer
- Performing weekly fire drills
- Utility and facility management
- Managing the office cleaners
- Ensuring that the staff room and kitchen are kept tidy and monitoring kitchen supplies
- Opening, checking and distributing post internally.
- Keeping the front desk tidy and clean
