Are you an organised and detail-oriented HR professional looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while playing a key role in delivering a professional and efficient HR service.


The Role


As the HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the entire employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Head of HR and business managers, you'll help ensure HR processes run smoothly while delivering a positive experience for employees.


Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.

  • Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.

  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.

  • Support payroll administration by processing employee changes accurately and on time.

  • Assist with employee relations administration, including absence management and disciplinary documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, and company policies.

  • Respond to HR queries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner.

  • Support the Head of HR with HR projects and general administrative duties.


About You


We're looking for someone who has:



  • Previous experience in an HR administration or HR support role.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems.

  • An understanding of UK employment legislation and GDPR (desirable).

  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work independently.
