Finance Administrator - Temporary (Immediate Start) - Part-Time


📍 Location: Boldon, free on-site parking
💷 Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible across the week)
📅 Contract: Temporary Assignment (approx. 3 months, ASAP start)


The Opportunity


Are you available immediately, seeking an interim finance administrator opportunity? Our client, a well-established organisation with a supportive finance team, is seeking a Finance Administrator to provide urgent temporary cover, for approximately 3 months.


This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied role where you'll support finance operations, liaise with suppliers, and ensure smooth day-to-day financial processes.


Key Responsibilities



  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments, ensuring accurate financial records.

  • Carry out reconciliations of accounts, costings, and ledger entries.

  • Maintain and update financial documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Liaise with internal departments (procurement, operations, labs) and external suppliers.

  • Support with month-end/quarterly reporting tasks.

  • Ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date in ERP/finance systems.

✔ Previous finance or administration experience.
✔ Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
✔ High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
✔ Proactive and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
✔ Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
