We are currently recruiting for a Plant/Machine Operator to join our clients busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop their career within a leading production business.


As a Plant/Machine Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring grading, packing, and dispatching efficiently while meeting all customer quality specifications, food safety requirements, and health & safety standards.


Key Responsibilities



  • Carry out grading line start-up checks and ensure equipment is ready for production.

  • Print and distribute daily production plans to relevant departments.

  • Monitor staff compliance with company procedures, food safety, and health & safety standards.

  • Ensure the grading area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.

  • Set up and prepare grading jobs on company systems, ensuring all parameters align with production plans.

  • Monitor product quality, sizing, packaging, and customer specifications throughout production.

  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain standards and make adjustments where required.


Essential



  • Good communication skills.

  • Good level of English.

  • Strong numerical and mathematical ability.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.

  • Flexible and willing to support the wider team.
