Graduate Opportunity for a Marketing Executive


Based: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Godalming.


Salary £28,000-£35,000 DOE

Our client who has a strong reputation for delivering award-winning customer service. Is looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to join our successful Sales & Marketing team.


This is a varied and exciting opportunity covering all aspects of marketing across the business. The role would suit an experienced Marketing Executive looking for their next challenge, or a Graduate Marketing Assistant seeking to take the next step in their marketing career. Previous knowledge of financial services would be beneficial but is not essential.

The Role


Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering marketing activity across the business.


Key Responsibilities




  • Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns




  • Manage and grow the company's digital presence across social media, email marketing and the website




  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging and accessible content




  • Utilise digital marketing tools to support campaigns and business objectives




  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement




  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends, opportunities and target audiences




  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activity and campaign outcomes




  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business development initiatives and provide marketing resources




  • Assist with new business enquiries and support lead generation activities




About You


Essential Skills and Experience




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail




  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset




  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities




  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines




  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint




  • Familiarity with CRM systems, digital marketing platforms and analytics tools




  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data




  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work




  • Collaborative team player with a desire to learn and develop




Desirable Skills and Experience




  • Experience within financial services




  • Understanding of marketing within a regulated environment




  • Marketing, business or financial services qualifications




  • Graduates with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject are encouraged to apply




Working Hours




  • Monday to Friday




  • No weekend working




  • Flexi-time available through the accrual of additional hours
