AGENCY WORKERS REGULATIONS

Stay current with changing legislation. The Agency Workers Regulations, explained.

Agency workers regulation explained

On 1 October 2011, the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) ― designed to give temporary agency workers the same access to basic pay and working conditions as direct hires ― became UK law. If you employ any of the 1.3 million agency workers currently on assignment in the UK, you need to know your onions when it comes to the changes.

In our guide to AWR, we’ll clue you up on all things law-abiding; including details around which pay and benefits are included or exempt from equal treatment, and quick fire ways to identify which candidates stand to be affected. And if you’d like any extra help with implementing the new legislation at your company, our legal experts can give you tailored advice.
