JOB TITLE: Training Consultant


HOURS: 8:45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday


Location: Glastonbury, Somerset


SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 PA DOE & £4,800 PA Car Allowance

THE ROLE: Seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic trainer to join this successful team in delivering excellence to their customers. They value a forward thinking, positive and innovative attitude and are seeking individuals who can join them to eulogise their software, business and direction. This role will include working with the Finance and HR management systems, and while experience of financial practices is highly advantageous it is not essential.


KEY DUTIES:



  • As part of a busy consultancy team, you will work alongside project managers to implement products into new and existing customer sites.

  • Delivering training and consultancy on products, both virtually and in-person, will give you the opportunity to travel throughout the UK and overseas.

  • Through developing a deep understanding of the product, you can forge a trusting relationship with customers, allowing you to not only deliver training but to consult on how they can fully utilise the product.

  • Through the relationships you build with customers you will fully understand their needs, and be able to identify any additional sales or upgrades for account managers to follow up on.

  • You will create and develop engaging and innovative training solutions across medias, including workshops, webinars, video content and workbooks.

  • You will continuously develop your knowledge and involvement/understanding in/of the sector/industry by keeping up to date with the latest in software, including legislative changes.

  • Working alongside Customer Account Managers you will use your direct communications with clients to keep customer and personal records up to date.


THE CANDIDATE:


The successful candidate will have previous experience in consultancy, training or an implementation role with good working knowledge of MS Office. Although not essential, it will be beneficial to have an understanding of financial practices. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be a great team player and be able to creatively problem solve. This role will involve travelling extensively throughout the UK and overseas so you will need to have flexibility for this aspect of the role.
