Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Circa £21K - £24K PA DOE (c£30K OTE in the first year)

LOCATION: Taunton, Somerset (Office Based)

Due to further growth they are looking to expand their team and providing a unique opportunity for a financial services novice to train to be a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor.

The trainee scheme will involve an intensive selection and rigorous assessment process to ensure that only those candidates who have the necessary attributes, characteristics and skills are selected. Successful applicants will proceed with an intensive training programme and be fully supported in all areas required to succeed. This includes studying for, and completing the necessary qualifications and guidance from Advisers within all areas of the business to gain insight into the paths their careers may take once qualified.

Alongside the training programme and completion of qualifications you will assist with lead generation for the business with main duties including contacting potential clients to book appointments, ensuring the clients needs are met by gaining an in depth understanding of their requirements and building strong working relationships with colleagues.


  • Ambition, determination and a strive to succeed

  • Experience in a customer facing position and the ability to thrive in a sales focused role

  • Prior experience in a professional setting (prior successful applicants have backgrounds in teaching, policing and banking to name a few!)

  • Strong educational background

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
