JOB TITLE: Temporary to Permanent Administrator - Immediate Start


LOCATION: You will be working in modern recently refurbished offices in Taunton, Somerset that have parking.


HOURS: Hours can be flexible, however, core business activity occurs from 7am - 11am and 2pm - 5pm. Our client is flexible for you to work mornings, split shifts or a full day starting no later than 8am.


SALARY: £19,000- £22,000 PA for full time hours (Dependant on experience)

THE ROLE: We are recruiting for a well-organised and reliable Administrator to join a growing local courier company who deliver goods for businesses across the UK. You will be dealing with new and existing clients and their transport requirements, as well as arranging deliveries, liaising with sub-contractors, monitoring the loads and obtaining the correct paperwork from the sub-contractors. This role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis so we are looking for candidates who are looking for long term permanent work. Full training will be provided.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Answering calls, responding to emails and messages from existing clients

  • Promptly dealing with client requests

  • Monitoring the collection times, ongoing loads and obtaining proof of delivery

  • Processing invoices

  • Adding new client details onto the system

  • Filing and scanning

  • Other administration support to ensure smooth running of the office


SKILLS REQUIRED:



  • Prior administration experience within an office environment

  • Ability to work on your own

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Confident and professional telephone manner

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Well-organised and process driven
