TITLE: Temporary to permanent Administrator - Immediate start

LOCATION: Ilminster, Somerset (due to the location you will need to be a driver)

HOURLY RATE: Competitive salary depending on experience

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 30 - 35 hours (flexible how the hours are worked)

We have the pleasure supporting a highly reputable and well-established group of family-owned businesses who are passionate about providing the best service to their customers. This role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis therefore you must be available immediately or on a short notice period. You will be joining a close knit and friendly team reporting to the Office Manager, providing a range of administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the business. Once you are fully trained and become more familiar with the role, there will be an opportunity to progress and look after one other company.


  • Scanning and inputting of invoices and receipts onto Xero

  • Logging jobs and making up price and job sheets as required

  • Assisting with screening incoming calls and taking accurate messages

  • Meeting and greeting visitors

  • Responding to email and answering queries

  • Booking accommodation for engineers and senior management

  • Scheduling meeting rooms and providing refreshments

  • Updating customers details on the system

  • Maintaining the current filing system

  • Photocopying and scanning

  • Updating of contact lists


  • Strong customer care skills

  • Proficient IT Skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages experience with XERO would be desirable however not essential

  • Confident and polite telephone manner

  • Positive "can-do" attitude

  • Ability to problem solve and use your own initiative
