JOB TITLE: Temporary Receptionist - Immediate Start


LOCATION: Bideford, North Devon


HOURLY RATE: £10.00 - £10.50 P/H DOE


HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (30 minutes lunch break)

THE ROLE:


We are working with a highly established and well recognised Financial Services company in Bideford, North Devon who are seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join them initially on a temporary basis. As you will be the first point of contact in person and via telephone you must be polite, attentive and welcoming.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Answering calls, screening calls and taking messages

  • Providing information about the services provided

  • Meeting and greeting visitors and directly visitors to the correct department

  • Assisting with queries from the general public

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support

  • Preparing correspondence and documents

  • Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries

  • Scheduling appointments

  • Maintaining appointments via electronic diary and booking system

  • Organising conference and meeting room bookings, both face to face and via zoom

  • Coordinating meetings and organising complimentary beverages

  • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment and stationery supplies

  • Controlling inventory relevant to reception area


SKILL REQUIRED:



  • Prior reception and administration experience

  • Good IT and communication skills

  • High level of customer care skills with the ability to go the extra mile

  • Strong organisation and planning skills

  • Excellent multi-tasker with experience working in a fast pace environment
