JOB ROLE: Receptionist - Temporary / Ad hock


COMPANY: Private Medical Clinic


HOURS: 8am-6pm (The shifts can range from half days to full days within these hours)



SALARY: £12 per hour


LOCATION: London - West End

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:




  • Greet visitors to the building and informing practitioners their visitors have arrived.

  • Keep the reception/waiting room/common parts tidy throughout the day to maintain a professional image.

  • Ensure water coolers are fully stocked.

  • Initial point of contact for general requests & complaints from tenants, patients, Property Managers and Maintenance Team, and forwarding appropriately.

  • Liaise with FOH supervisor for scheduled maintenance and reporting any on site issues.

  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.

  • Order stationery when required

  • Maintain a secure reception area, including monitoring the CCTV camera and reporting if this malfunction


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Confident and accurate in communication, written and verbal.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills and flexibility in order to manage variable workloads.

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Able to work unsupervised and exercise initiative.

  • The ability to deal with sensitive issues in an appropriate and confidential manner.

  • Happy to be contacted last minute on available days.
