Office Angels are currently seeking a skilled Part time Accounts Assistant to join a charity organisation that provides funds for nature conservation projects for small or medium-sized organisations in developing countries.

Working at our client's organisation based in the heart of the West End near Oxford Street working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is a part time, temporary position with the potential for permanent placement.

The hourly rate for this role ranges from £15 - £16 per hour. Don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of our client's growth and success.

The role is 2 days office based.


  • Twice weekly processing of payments in compliance with company's payment processes.

  • Twice weekly monitoring of payments and accurately matching, adding payments onto QuickBooks.

  • Maintaining electronic filing of all finance records.

  • Allocate payments and receipts to purchase invoices.

  • Monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in both company expenses and grantee payments.

  • Monthly credit card administration for three staff.

Competencies & Experience:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and other Office products.

  • Solid experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable function with a strong understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry accounting.

  • Works well both independently and within a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative approach to working with others, committed to an inclusive environment.
