LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset (Office based)


HOURLY RATE: £13.00 - £16.50 per hour (DOE)


HOURS: Monday - Friday, full time

We are supporting a well-known and leading business based in Bridgwater who are seeking a highly organised and dedicated PA / Senior Administrator to join their team on a temporary on-going basis, starting in January. This role will provide a high level of secretarial and administrative support to Senior Management. Experience of working with Directors and Executives are a must along with proven experience of diary management and planning/organising travel. This role is initially temporary however for the right candidate the opportunity may become permanent.


Duties will include:



  • Arranging and managing meetings and events for Senior Management

  • Using Microsoft office skills to design and build well- presented, high quality and relevant reports with limited input from others

  • Creating documents, letters and presentations

  • Preparing materials including board papers

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail

  • Communicating effectively with Directors or Managers of associated business, and with customers or suppliers

  • Undertaking proactive e-mail management ensuring that urgent e-mails are promptly picked up, responded to and actioned as appropriate

  • Providing a high standard of proof reading of documents for spelling, grammar and general presentation

  • Arranging travel including the foreign travel of relevant members of staff


The successful candidate must have:



  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages - including Excel

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
