Office Angels are currently looking for an experienced Temporary Executive Assistant to join our client based in Edinburgh City Centre. This role is due to start ASAP and will be temporary for around 2/3 months. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5pm. Salary depending on experience.

The Executive Assistant will provide a full range of administrative support to the Edinburgh team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth business and play a key role in the continued success of an expanding and critical part of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Extensive calendar and diary management.

  • Creation of presentations, reports and communication materials using the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Supporting in the role out of the business' objectives.

  • Managing internal mailboxes.

  • Arranging travel, including flights, trains, hotels, restaurants and taxis.

  • Providing general support across the business as required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring calendars and diaries are up to date.

  • Ensuring travel and accommodation cost bookings provide best value for the business.

  • Management and submission of expenses. Ensuring meeting agendas and briefing packs are prepared as required.


The incumbent will be required to hold the following skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience in working with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work as part of a team and form good working relationships, internally and externally

  • Previous experience in a PA/EA role supporting Directors

  • Ability to prioritise and pre-empt requirements

  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Confident, determined and deadline driven.
