HOURS: 09.00 - 17.00 - on site with the flexibility to work from home on 1 day


SALARY: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

My client is seeking an Office Manager who will ensure the smooth running of their new London office and contribute in driving growth. You will undertake administrative tasks to ensure the staff have adequate support to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision. You will be self-motivated and reliable



DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

  • Manage travel arrangements, appointments and organise company events

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures (including processing invoices and assisting the Accounts Payable Team with data entry where necessary)

  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

  • Assist the HR Team with basic HR tasks such as on boarding new employees (induction process) and other ad hoc queries from HR (for instance liaising with local recruitment agencies and supporting the selection process with interview scheduling etc.)

  • Track levels of office supplies and place orders when necessary

  • Assist colleagues in other departments with administrative tasks whenever necessary

  • Liaise with external suppliers (utilities, phone providers, etc.)




SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or Office Assistant

  • Outstanding communication and writing skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

  • Experience with MS Office, Carta, Concur, etc.
