🌟 Job Title: Temporary Finance Assistant - Exciting Opportunity!


📍 Location: Riding Mill, Northumberland


📅 Contract Details: Temporary for the next 3-6 months (potentially longer depending on business needs)


⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am-6pm


💰 Salary: Hourly rate from £13.33 to £15.38 paid on a weekly basis through OA

📝 Responsibilities:


As a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant, you will be an integral part of our client's finance team. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.

  • Monitoring accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.

  • Providing administrative support to the finance team, including filing documents, organising records, and responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders.


📜 Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:



  • Solid understanding of finance processes and procedures.

  • Experience in credit control, purchase ledger, or a similar finance role.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.


📚 Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):


Although not required, the below skills and experience would be beneficial:



  • Previous experience working with accounting software.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting.
