Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for a keen Finance Administrator to join a well-established company at their head office in Glasgow City Centre.  The successful candidate will have a strong initiative, possess exceptional communication skills, a working knowledge of Sage 50/200 and be able to adapt to changing priorities.


This opening would be best suited to someone who likes to be kept busy and can multi-task with ease.  A high level of responsibility is desirable as you may be working on your own throughout the day.


This assignment is due to run for a period of 4 weeks. Rate of pay is £9.50-£10.50 per hour depending on experience.





Key responsibilities:



  • First point of contact for the business answering inbound telephone calls

  • Prepare banking daily

  • Matching Purchase Orders with invoices

  • Paying supplier invoices

  • Ensuring debtors pay on time

  • General typing and filing

  • Ordering office supplies and general office housekeeping

  • Assisting with financial planning for current and future activities

  • Ensuring that all records comply with all regulatory and audit requirements

  • Adding new accounts to system

  • Chasing outstanding invoices and PO's

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail




 Key skills:



  • Able to work unsupervised and use initiative

  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong numerical skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

  • Working knowledge of Sageline 50 or Sage 200
