Office Angels are recruiting for a 6 week temporary candidate to work in the Head Office of one of the UK's largest Coffee chains.

You will support the Operations Coordinator, during their very busy year end period (mid May to the end of June).

You will provide flexible admin events support to the Ops Coordinator and the Ops Team across a range of duties which includes the following. It is essential that candidates understand that this is not an exhaustive list:

  • With the guidance of the Operations Coordinator, accurately book travel for the Store Managers who will be attending End Of Year events in June (around 600 people)

  • Respond to queries from the teams regarding their travel arrangements (via phone, email, in person, zoom)

  • Support the Operations Coordinator with the administration and coordination of the End of Year and Barista of the Year events

    • liaising with venues, attendees, suppliers

    • arrange delivery of equipment and materials to venues ahead of the events

    • provide support if required to the teams at the events with set up and coordination (possibly in person, if not remotely)

  • Provide general clerical and admin support to the Ops Coordinator

The right candidate will:

  • Love the idea of supporting a fun and hands on team, at one of their busiest times of the year - getting stuck in with whatever comes their way!

  • Be confident to talk to a range of colleagues internally and externally

  • Be flexible and open about what they do

  • Have great attention to detail

  • Have good Microsoft Office skills (especially Word and Excel)

  • Have a sound and sensible approach - for example thinking about best routes when talking about travel arrangements

  • Be self sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision

An interest in coffee would be an advantage but isn't essential! The office teams are trained to make the same, handmade, coffee as the stores - which is an amazing perk.

The role is Monday to Friday, based at the offices in Covent Garden. You may be asked to attend some of the events in person but primarily you would be office based - 8 paid hours on average each day.
