Job Role: Customer Service Advisor

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Start Date: Immediate Start

Pay Rate: £10.00 per hour

Working Hours: 8:00am until 5:00pm / 8.30am -5:30pm Monday to Friday

Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Advisor for a well-established client of ours located in the Smethwick area. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of an organisation and hold the accountability for maintaining focus on providing outstanding customer experience.

Duties will include;

  • Handling requests from customers in a local site/depot or branch environment. Includes new account and pricing set up, order entry and queries and internal communication with operations and sales teams

  • Raising manual notes for permitted scenarios and updates manual Log

  • Raising credit notes adhering to the credit note request procedure

  • Taking payments from customers and reconciles banking for products (and equipment, if applicable)

  • Calculating commission payments to agents and makes adjustments to cylinder holdings

  • Completing manual template to create Proforma Invoices as required

  • Providing rapid resolution to issues and assesses when a contact requires escalation or referral to an expert

  • Developing and maintains knowledge of products, services and systems as required

  • Identifying sales opportunities for referral to the sales team

  • Developing strong long term relationships with customers and agents to fully understand their needs

  • Providing proactive service to select customers based on outbound contact Manages work within KPI / target framework to optimise customer experience and productivity

Skills / Experience required;

  • Previous customer service and or sales experience in a branch environment

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Confident and clear communication skills across all contact channels (telephone, email, face to face)

  • Capable of prioritising workload and solving problems

  • Able to remain focused in a busy telephone environment

  • Willingness to learn about industry, products, customer and agent requirements
