8:30am - 6pm

My client is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Advisor to join their team during their busiest season. This is a temporary role with the potential to be made permanent.


  • Resolve customer queries fully by working closely with Drivers, Shift Managers and Ops Managers

  • Provide customers with delivery status

  • Supply customers with evidence of Proof of Delivery

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer queries via phone or email

  • Proactively advise customers of any exception information

  • Be proficient in the use of the company system

  • Support with incoming calls, where necessary, from other Customer Service departments

  • Carry out thorough investigations into general queries, complaints, and delivery disputes

  • Maintain a tidy and organised work area

  • Keep up to date and promote company products and services to new and existing customers

  • Ensure the company system is always up to date with correct information

  • Other general ad hoc duties

  • Provide one to one tailored customer service to our most demanding clients

Skills and experience (if applicable):

    • Effective management of complaints & escalations

    • Taking ownership in problem solving prior to arising

    • Adherence to schedule

    • Takes initiative with tasks

    • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
