Temporary Customer Service Administrator

£12.50 per hour

Maldon, Essex

Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm

*This is a temporary assignment for 1-2 months. Please only apply if you are available immediately.

Operating within the Customer Service function for the business, you will be helping process customer orders for domestic and international customers. You will be building strong relationships with the Business Development Team and key points of contact within Hospitals. All activities are to be conducted in line with company quality management systems and corporate strategy.


  • Ensure sales orders from customers and distributors are handled promptly and entered onto the Company's ERP system for prompt picking and dispatch purposes.

  • Ensure customers are informed of any sales order discrepancies and delays in dispatching goods.

  • Liaise with internal and external customers to identify areas for improvement, make recommendations and support implementation.

  • Liaise with customers and BDMs to resolve any queries on orders, prices, stock, delivery, general queries, sample requests etc.

  • Conduct ongoing customer feedback review.

  • Understand new contracts; ensuring they are set-up efficiently and that all new pricing relating to new contract awards are set up against all relevant sites.

  • Ensure an effective and efficient Loan Kit Service, booking customer requirements against available.

  • Liaise with the team to agree time frames of despatch and ensure all paperwork is in good order.

  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot unusual queries and technical issues that arise.

  • Continually develop own knowledge and skills to meet both individual and department objectives.
