Temporary Corporate Receptionist


Location: West End


Duration: 1 day +


Start Date: ASAP


Pay: £12.00 - £16.00p/h


We are looking for a temporary corporate receptionist to work at a variety of different industries. From corporate setting, to medical clinics, to creative. Jobs can vary from the odd day to a long term booking.


Requirements:



  • Must have previous experience in a corporate receptionist role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in using computerised booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Professional appearance and demeanour.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.




Responsibilities:



  • Meet and greet visitors with a warm and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.

  • Accurately manage reservations of meeting rooms using a computerised booking system.

  • Liaise with PAs, Directors, Catering, and AV staff to coordinate meetings and events.

  • Assist with organising catering and audio-visual equipment, occasionally helping to set up meeting rooms.

  • Ensure meeting rooms are prepared and ready for the next scheduled event.

  • Handle switchboard duties, directing calls to the appropriate department or individual.

  • Provide excellent customer service by going the extra mile to meet clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including booking taxis and couriers and ordering flowers.

  • Conduct stocktaking and other administrative duties as required.
