Reporting to the Senior Carrier Manager


Due to our continued success and growth plans, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Carrier Analyst to join our carrier & logistics team. The role is key in providing support to the carrier team as well as wider Logistics, Trading and Customer Care teams in all aspects of data analysis and regular reporting as well as supporting the operation through process improvements. This role has the ability to analyse, present and shape the customer proposition, providing a real opportunity to change tomorrow's customer proposition.


  • Support the Carrier & wider business teams in making data driven decisions, ensuring the smooth day to day operations, maintaining the customer proposition.

  • Confident of data sources & analysis in order to provide regular reporting for stakeholders at all levels -

  • Evaluate carrier reporting & lead in data diagnosis, provide executive summaries & actionable insight, adding value to regular & impromptu reporting, produce regular reporting packs, using graphs, infographics & other methods to visualize and present data.

  • Support Carriers with accurate forecasting and clear articulation of daily priorities.

  • Measure & audit process and reporting compliance to ensure both remain effective.

  • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business

  • First point of contact for order queries as the End-to-End proposition owner for internal and external stakeholders, representing carriers in cross-functional meetings.

  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement & operational efficiency, e.g, report automation, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations

  • Stakeholder management in support of Carrier Management team & reduce contacts on frequently asked questions.

  • Participate in regular meetings with other departments and carriers, with the ability to analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders

  • Supporting the Senior Carrier Manager in Peak trading preparation, planning & execution

  • Support the implementation of new delivery related projects


  • Strong attention to detail with a strive for excellence.

  • Analytical approach to problem solving and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Capable in providing fast and accurate information.

  • Commercially driven with an appetite to drive business improvement.

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a fast-paced operational environment individually and as part of a professional team.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, understand 'what good looks like', and capable of planning and multi-tasking to complete assignments.

  • Demonstrate a solution focused approach to analysing challenges and issues as they arise - think "Out the Box" if a tangible benefit can be gained.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders of all levels across the business (verbal and written), explaining complex issues and processes in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Logistics operations exposure is desired but not essential.

  • You will have an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement
