Our client, a membership organisation based in London are looking for an Process Officer to join the training team on a temporary basis.

The main responsibility of the Process officer is to deliver the equivalence process, whereby doctors make detailed applications to have their experience assessed against established criteria -

  • Reviewing and preparing these applications for assessment by a specialist committee, including identifying anomalies, preparing a detailed list of evidence, and advising the committee of significant points to note.

  • Writing up the detailed evaluations of each application, summarising the evidence and the views of the committee

  • Organising meetings of the committee as required

Key skills:

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent written English

  • The ability to understand, interpret and explain complex issues clearly in writing

  • Ability to quickly grasp processes and to understand complex and specialised information

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel


  • Some experience of post-graduate medical education, medical charity or of working with doctors or other high-profile professionals would be advantageous.

  • Experience of case management would be beneficial
