HOURS: Monday - Friday 09:00am-17:30pm
SALARY: £12.82ph - £13.85ph
START DATE: ASAP - MUST BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
DURATION: 2-3 months

Who are we looking for?


An experienced Accounts Assistant to work within the Finance team. The core responsibilities are to distribute invoices to appropriate employees for job coding and approval, and input data onto the accounting software. This candidate MUST be immediately available to join the company on an interim basis of approximately 2- 3 months.

What would you be doing?



* Ensures authorised invoices are returned to the Finance department in a timely manner (in line with payment runs and supplier deadlines) and ensures they are coded to the appropriate project, task and correct Nucleus company
* Processes twice weekly payment runs
* Review supplier statements to ensure all invoices have been received and processed
* Works in partnership with the supplier and employees to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
* Produces accounts payable ageing report and makes payment recommendations to the Management Accountant
* Regularly reconciles supplier and employee vendor accounts
* Helping managing staff expenses

Knowledge and experience:
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience within an Accounts Assistant role
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
