Overview:

As part of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with team members on business strategy and upselling services to achieve business objectives.


You will generate leads to maintain a great pipeline of potential business while creating propositions that supports sustainable profitable revenue and long-term relationships.

  • Deliver set monthly targets in respect of inbound product / material for recovery / reuse and value

  • Be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales

  • Fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the prospects

  • Developing effective relationships with key contacts in your accounts

  • Develop joint business plans with clients to maximise organic growth

  • Identify new business opportunities

  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively

  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise

  • Develop promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department

  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate and keep abreast of trends

  • Maintain knowledge of the marketplace, including industry, competitors, and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered, and implemented appropriately



To be successful in this role you'll have:



  • Background in Telecommunications industry (desirable)

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Ambitious and motivated to be successful

  • A willingness to learn

  • Competency in the use of IT and other packages
