Technical Administrator - The Heartbeat of the Team!



📍 Location: Livingston
🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (early finish = weekend starts sooner!)
📃Contract Type: Fixed Term (10 Months maternity cover)
🚀 Start Date: Early July

We're on the lookout for a Technical Administrator to join our client's friendly, high-energy team. In this role, you'll be the behind-the-scenes superstar-handling everything from client communications and job tracking to preparing reports and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. If you work well under pressure and bring a strong work ethic to everything you do, we'd love to hear from you!



🧩 Some of the tasks you'll be involved in:



  • Setting up and managing projects, job files, workbooks, and records for new and ongoing projects.

  • Keeping clients in the loop-confirming project timelines, chasing missing data, and updating them on progress throughout.

  • Coordinating with team members to keep schedules on track and flagging any issues early.

  • Preparing reports and documents to a high standard before they're signed off.

  • Helping maintain quality and safety systems (full training given!)

  • Booking couriers and managing shipments of samples and parcels.

  • Following up on quotes and keeping client costs and job lists up to date.

  • Supporting the team with general admin tasks to keep everything running like clockwork.

  • Keeping the workspace tidy, safe, and ready for action.



🧠 What You Bring:



  • A love for organisation and a sharp eye for detail.

  • Bring confident with Excel is a must!

  • Great communication skills-you're confident talking to people and keeping things clear.

  • A proactive attitude-you spot what needs doing and get it done.

  • Experience in admin or office support (bonus if you've worked in a technical or busy team environment).
