Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

My client is seeking a professional and presentable person to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day workings of a department consisting of 4 other experienced members of staff in Braintree, with a further 2 members based externally. This is an exciting time for the department and company as a whole as they expand their business.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Logging of customer complaints on internal spreadsheet.

  • Investigation of complaints with suppliers, including root cause, corrective and preventative actions.

  • Respond to customer complaints, including internal communication to arrange collection / credit / reprocessing of product.

  • Completion of customer queries including SAQs, specifications and maintenance of customer portals.

  • Completion of traceability's for customers.

  • Member of the internal audit and HACCP teams.

  • Any other tasks as directed by the technical management team.

Preferred Skillset & Qualifications

  • Ability to work and communicate internally & externally effectively whilst under pressure.

  • An attitude to muck in during busy times.

  • Attention to detail.

  • An appreciation of the commercial impact technical matters may have.

  • Exposure to BRC standards, HACCP and Internal auditing preferable

  • Willingness to increase their knowledge & share with others.

  • Keen interest in the Food Industry ideal
