I am delighted to be representing this client who is looking for a special person that is able to delvier the on boarding of all staff to ensure that the staff feel welcomed in a way that the placement is secured. If you come from a background of recruitment that is a benefit as you will be picking up the phone and taling to candidates on a regular basis and screening candidates when they have applied for roles.

Main tasks:

  • Promptly requesting and chasing references for every new joiner.

  • Update and maintain the recruitment spreadsheet.

  • Uploading employment documents onto database

  • Assisting with sending out various communications to new joiners

  • Supporting Team Support Lead in co-ordinating events including ordering of supplies, venue bookings, sending out of invitations, preparation of goody bags, preparation of any printed materials, and, where requested, attend to assist with set up.

  • Ensuring all birthdays are recognised and diarised and that milestone events/birthdays are marked.

  • As instructed by Team Support Lead, to ensure that our Senior Management Team feel valued by organising things such as cards and gifts on birthdays, flowers when not well or family concerns, recognising milestone events such as length of service, and celebrating successes such as inspections, positive reviews, special thank you letters and completion of projects.

  • To be the second in line to answer the phone and intercom promptly, greet visitors and take in deliveries.

  • General admin support for the HR function.

  • Carry out online research, event co-ordination, as instructed by Line Manager.

  • To perform any other reasonable requests.

  • To cover the Receptionist/Administrator role for any absences out of the office, lunch breaks and annual leave.

  • To ensure each visitor to the office are welcomed and offered a drink.

  • To support the marketing team in packaging and posting marketing materials i.e. leaflets

  • To ensure that the office is neat, tidy, safe and welcoming.

  • To engender an atmosphere of co-operation and positivity within the office dealing with colleagues, visitors and suppliers with courtesy and respect at all times.
