Team Leader - Helpdesk (Facilities)

Role: Team Leader - Facilities (Flexible working)


Location: Leeds City Centre


Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours


Salary: £26-28K DOE


Start date: ASAP

I'm excited to be recruiting for this fantastic team which I've worked closely with previously and, due to promotion, a role for a Team Leader has come available. This is such a vital role as, not only will you be hands on and assisting with the day to day queries which come in, you will be leading and managing the team, implementing and improving processes, ensuring issues are resolved and reporting directly into the Head of Facilities.


This role will also see you involved in projects across the country and With an industry like facilities, no two days will be the same but you'll handle each day with the same drive to deliver an effective service for the business.

Main Responsibilities include:



  • Effectively leading the facilities helpdesk team whilst also assisting with the day to day queries

  • Ensuring quality and standard of work from the team remains high, implementing processes where needed

  • Monitoring and reporting on all costings including producing quotes and forecasts, placing agreed orders and assessing purchasing requirements

  • Attending and minuting the Facilities Meeting, representing the Helpdesk and giving input on project costings

  • Operational reports for the Head of Facilities and Facilities Management team

  • Supporting the FM's with project tasks such as arranging relocations, property viewings and planning applications



To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:



  • Experience of leading a team (within Properties or Facilities will be an advantage)

  • Clear telephone voice with great communication skills

  • Ability to organise a busy workload
