Our client, a prestigious medical society, is seeking an experienced Office Support Assistant to join their Central London team on a temporary basis!
In this role, you will provide high quality administrative support to the professional practice team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business. You will be responsible for the teams diary management, travel bookings, event organisation, record organisation, and ad hoc administrative support.

Pay: £14 - £16 per hour
Duties:
- Administrative support for setting up meetings of working groups and review teams comprising both staff and external representatives.
- Potentially supporting one or two on site and online events on the day.
- Preparing contractual documentation in relation to a review event (requires close attention to detail)
- Organisation of our spreadsheet of publications to inform project planning for the 2024 guidance work plan, under direction of Head of PP&QI
- Organisation of records on MS Planner to support ongoing monitoring of new and existing guidance projects (no prior experience of MS Planner necessary - we can provide training and it's very intuitive)
- In consultation with the Professional Standards team, agreement, and implementation of revised file structure
- Other ad hoc support for guidance development and audit projects (e.g., emailing agreed information to participants, under direction of other colleagues)
- Diary management (Exec Director Education & Professional Practice, Medical Directors Professional Practice x 2)
- Booking travel and accommodation for MDPPs, review team members, and speakers at planned events
Person Specific:
- Experience of successful working within a team and the provision of a professional, friendly, and reactive service to colleagues and external contacts - Essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel - Essential
- Experience of providing a variety of administrative support - Essential
- experience in a similar administrative / PA role
