JOB TITLE: Talent Specialist


JOB TYPE: Permanent


SALARY: £30,000 - £32,000 with great benefits


COMPANY TYPE: Travel company


HOURS: 9:30am to 5:30pm


LOCATION: Combination of working from home and office in central London

Key Responsibilities



  • As Talent Specialist, you will effectively manage the end to end recruitment process. Working closely with the hiring managers, People Partners, and various internal client groups to identify the hiring needs of each department.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and implementing relevant recruitment approaches, using your creativity and experience to successfully attract and recruit new diverse talent into the organisation.

  • To be successful you will need to build and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organisation, advising hiring managers on optimal attraction and selection strategies for their roles, and supporting them to secure exceptional talent whilst delivering a high-quality candidate experience.


Main Duties;



  • Ensure that all candidates receive an excellent recruitment and pre-boarding experience.

  • Identify opportunities for marketing brand and raising the companies profile as an employer of choice.

  • Write engaging job adverts using inclusive language to attract target audience.

  • Identify relevant external platforms to promote brand and career opportunities to attract diverse talent through direct sourcing and using external advertising platforms

  • Support the building of a pipeline of diverse talent across all roles to support Diversity & Inclusion recruitment strategy.

  • Provide real time D&I & Gender data to track progress and identify trends to improve recruitment approaches and channels

  • Delivering an excellent recruitment service and ensure robust effective resourcing plans are in place to meet client and stakeholder expectations.

  • Understand each of the departments you support and their unique resourcing needs.

  • Advise/Influence managers on the most effective attraction and selection strategies to ensure diverse applications for their vacancies and support in their delivery.

  • Support hiring managers on the most effective selection and assessment approaches and support in their delivery including conducting competency-based interviews as required.


Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications



  • Implement recruitment campaigns that effectively engage talent with the brand

  • Applies understanding of the different target audiences to lead the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of effective recruitment campaigns.

  • Experience in identifying and the administration of online assessment tools

  • Manages and develops internal and external stakeholder relationships and partnerships to meet agreed deliverables and outcomes.

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with others to engage and influence; promotes dialogue and ensures timely and appropriate messages, building confidence and trust in others.

  • Takes a proactive approach to meet the recruitment plans of internal and external customers (candidates, hiring managers, senior leaders and external suppliers) and seeks to collect, interpret and deploy information & data to continually improve the recruitment process.

  • Process ownership and quality control following set processes and ensuring all deliverables are met identifying areas for improvement.



  • Educated to diploma level or equivalent experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Need to be IT and data literate
