Are you a compassionate and organised individual who enjoys providing support to others? Do you have experience in office administration and customer service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Welfare Team as a Support Administrator.

Our client, is a dedicated organisation that offers support services to those who work in professional services. They provide emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to sector workers and their families.



About the role:


As a Support Administrator, you will play a key role in providing assistance to individuals in need.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Providing administrative support to the Welfare Team, ensuring orderly and timely administration.

  • Maintaining accurate and efficient use of support services' databases, reports, and analysis.

  • Managing financial administration and reconciliation within the team.

  • Supporting other projects carried out by the welfare team, such as Wellbeing Talks, Health Calendar, and monthly newsletter composition.



In addition to your administrative duties, you will also serve as the first point of contact for callers via our helpline. This will involve accurately recording client details in our database and providing empathetic and non-judgmental support to those in need.



What we're looking for:


To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:



  • Personable and caring telephone communication skills with a genuine empathy for others.

  • Proven office administration and customer service experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong data processing skills with the ability to input, extract, and analyse data.

  • Experience in mental health support, preferably with Mental Health First Aid qualification or equivalent.

  • Passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and making a positive impact in their lives.

  • Ability to work within agreed criteria, policies, and practises while maintaining client confidentiality.

  • Experience in working effectively within a small team and the ability to work remotely with privacy in mind.
