Office Angels are working with a leading online retailer in Bracknell who are recruiting for an experienced, methodical and articulate Supply Chain Administrator.

Key Responsibilities



  • Facilitate the flow of information between suppliers and the purchasing team

  • Maintaining procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of the newly developed stock management system

  • Develop the evolution of the internal system and processes with the support of the purchasing and finance teams

  • Maintain the rhythm of resolution in a timely manner

  • Reconcile stock files

  • Stock receipts

  • Exception reports

  • Clearing delivery queries with warehousing team

  • Clearing pricing/volume queries with accounts payable

  • Clearing all resulting queries with suppliers

  • Data file uploads into system

  • Maintaining contents and accuracy of purchasing and stock system

  • Updating lead and delivery times to keep internal and external customers

  • Daily reconciliation and reporting of stock availability, value and age

  • Creating manual and systemised Purchase Orders for all stock

  • Creating part numbers and configuring in systems

  • Reviewing products, key details and naming conventions, maintaining accuracy across all stock lines

  • Developing supplier interactions and data provision procedures

  • Conversion of supplier data to information supply to warehousing team

  • Purchasing of non-stock / sundry items

  • Creating Purchase Orders for services

  • Updating and providing pricing matrixes for internal customers


Candidate Requirements



  • High attention to detail supported by very strong numerical skills



  • Have initiative and a pro-active, enthusiastic 'can do' attitude

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Be willing to learn about the software IT industry

  • Support the purchasing team to progress chase orders.

  • Deal with general purchasing queries.

  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.

  • Scanning, filing and administration of purchase orders.

  • Placing orders for consumable and general company equipment.
