Studio Manager

Salary: £32-40k depending on experience

Location: Waterloo

Hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm Monday - Friday

This role will be full time office based.

This leading Architecture firm are looking for a confident and organised Studio Manager to join their team of 30. Their open space office is based a 5 minute walk from Waterloo station so has great connections into London.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of duties, ranging from facilities, event organisation, marketing to office administration.


  • Answering calls, distributing post and dealing with couriers

  • Greeting clients and visitors

  • Managing the office diary and arranging and setting up meetings - internal and external

  • Ensuring the office is kept tidy at all times

  • Purchasing supplies etc for the office and keeping track of service contract agreements

  • Proactively updating and maintaining the office databases

  • Inducting new members of staff

  • Book national and international travel as and when needed

  • Health and safety requirements and undertaking monthly risk assessments, first aid and fire marshal

  • Facilities such as maintaining and servicing office equipment, monthly meter readings etc

  • Organise and deliver events throughout the year, including office trip, Christmas party and Easter breakfast and the annual summer client event

  • Marketing duties such as social media, helping to write the weekly internal newsletter and quarterly external newsletter, keeping the website up to date

  • Respond to PR requests and arrange photography

  • Create agenda and lead the monthly marketing meeting with senior management


  • Experience within a similar position

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload

  • Available to start a new role either immediately or on a short notice

  • An interest or experience within marketing or graphics is a benefit
