Office Angels Livingston are collaborating exclusively with a friendly and innovative team for a Permanent Storeroom Assistant. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys building good internal and external relationships and naturally proactive. Based in West Lothian, salary £18525 per annum. The core hours are between Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm (37.5hrs per week).


Role Overview


You will work in the Warehouse Department handles processes involved in the supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. This is a two-way process with the supply and return of new or faulty goods. The Warehouse Department must co-ordinate processes to ensure customer satisfaction. An awareness of external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental pressures is required.


Duties include:



  • As a Stores Assistant you would have a level of experience in the following areas:

  • Compliance with all Health & Safety processes and procedures

  • Perform transactions using Solavista system to move goods between locations and system status

  • Stock Takes

  • Booking in of goods

  • Physical movement of stock and goods

  • Order stock from suppliers / Livingston depot when needed

  • Pick products and goods for order despatch

  • Check and maintain the accuracy of stock

  • Ensure all stock areas are kept tidy

  • Operate forklift truck as required

  • Perform manual handling

  • Driving of company vehicles essential - potential overnight stays

  • Ensure all documentation is processed as appropriate

  • Any other reasonable duties as required by customers or internal projects


Skills and Experience required:



  • Must have demonstrably strong interpersonal and relational talents

  • Success in this role is highly predicated on building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with internal and external Personnel
