Salary - £10-11ph


Duration - 6 months temp

Our client based in Wokingham are looking for a Stock Controller on a 6-month temporary basis. You will be reporting to the UK Sales Manager supporting them with processing sales orders and shipments incoming and outgoing. You will be responsible for inventory management of all incoming parts and raising of all shipping documents.



Responsibility's & Duties



* Assist with all shipping (RMA and Sales Order requests), receiving, and inventory organisation operations including system transactions
* Prepare and process all shipping documentation from the JDE system including export documentation i.e. Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists
* Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks
* Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents
* Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items
* Unload, stack, move, and place products in designated areas
* Move and transfer products between various sections of the warehouse as needed
* Use forklift, pallet trucks etc. to transfer and deliver goods
* Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval
* Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment as necessary
* Collect, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment
* Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order
* Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the UK Service Manager
* Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Always adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
* Always maintain a clean and tidy Warehouse
* Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
* Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently according to company protocol
* Provide support to the local Repairs Team as and when required to so do
* Work under supervision and direction of the UK Service Manager



Experience & Skills



* Ability to work independently with or without supervision while performing a variety of tasks.
* Previous Warehouse function skills imperative with all pick, pack and ship experience essential.
* Prioritise job tasks to achieve daily work plan and any unforeseen issues.
* JDE system (experience preferable).
* Knowledge and understanding of Company safety procedures and policies.
* Awareness and understanding of Company quality standards.
* Understand and use basic math.
* The candidate must have sound knowledge of Office systems and be computer literate.
* Although working within a quality system, the candidate must also have the flexibility and experience to work on their own initiative.
* Ability to pass written and driving tests for forklift license.
