JOB TITLE: Software Services Consultant


LOCATION: Bridgwater


SALARY: Competitive Salary Dependant on Experience


HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.45am- 5.15pm you will be primarily office based but must have the flexibility to work from home too.

THE ROLE: Our client a well-established IT business based in Bridgwater, Somerset are seeking a Software Services Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. This company has a fantastic reputation and provide full training and support throughout your career.


OVERVIEW: To deliver software services projects to time, cost and quality and ensure that client requirements and expectations are delivered to target.


Duties will involve:



  • Providing pre and post-sales support to clients and colleagues by telephone, email, remote working, conference calls and face-to-face.

  • Deliver projects and solutions including working on-site at customer premises throughout the U.K.

  • Maintain a positive and proactive business relationship with clients.

  • Work within the Company's software services team and with other colleagues to analyse, research and provide solutions to meet client's enquiries and needs.

  • Maintain a positive and proactive business relationship with clients.

  • Ensure database and training material is kept up to date, structured and available to all staff who need access.

  • Maintain own responsibility for ensuring a safe working environment in the office and at client premises.

  • Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends and competitors.

  • Provide ad-hoc reports as required.



THE CANDIDATE: Our client is looking for someone with a relevant IT degree, or previous experience within a similar role. If you have previously worked in a Finance/Accounts position or have an AAT Qualification this may also be considered. You will be an extremely customer focused self-starter with excellent communication skills. You will be hardworking, enthusiastic and highly professional. The desired candidate will also be excellent at problem solving with the confidence to present to clients and colleagues. It will also be advantageous to have an understanding of SME businesses and how they operate.
