My client, a dynamic and progressive award winning company based in Loughton, is looking for a Shipping & Logistics Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a new role due to company growth and is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career within a progressive business.

Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for incoming calls to the department

  • Managing Goods In book, updating daily all in transit items and received loads, allocating new numbers for new contracts and as per the request of the warehouse

  • Folder management, setting up files, adding supplier documents to relevant folders and ensuring such documents match contract

  • Updating and managing the transport log

  • Checking of cost invoices related to transport or customs arrangements

  • Raising documentation including packing lists, delivery notes and invoices

  • Responsible for the accurate updating of the invoice book

  • Handling enquiries from the warehouse office team

  • Managing ISO9001 compliance platform

  • Providing general assistance to Shipping and Contracts department
