Job Role: Service Administrator


Salary: £21'500 per annum (rising to £22'000 following a successful probationary period)


Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working option)


Temporary to Permanent, Full time hours


Proposed start date: Immediate

Our client, a busy supplier, is looking to recruit two additional administrators to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will have experience and transferable skills within a previous administration role and be a confident individual with high attention to detail, good communication skills, and organised.



The role:



  • Manage customer accounts

  • Daily update of all portals

  • Assist in reducing return calls, repeat enquires by liaising with stores

  • To ensure the highest level of quality, accuracy and efficiency is maintained

  • To communicate with all departments on the progress of each job via the operating platform and relevant apps

  • Weekly inspections

  • To assist and take part in audits

  • To arrange works, order parts and receive job packs, highlighting risks and possible issues quickly

  • Be able to liaise with colleagues and work supportively and jointly when appropriate

  • Be able to construct effective written communications, including letters and reports to meet business needs

  • Demonstrate confident and effective telephone skills

  • Use good interpersonal skills, including questioning and listening

  • Management of area team, holiday & sickness, monitor call out rota

  • Assist new contacts into the business, managing transition phases from existing suppliers



The person:



  • Highly numerate

  • Work to own initiative

  • Excellent administration acumen

  • Have ownership, winning, result driven mentality

  • IT literate and able to work with multiple systems and data sets

  • Transferable skills from previous administration role advantageous
