My client currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Service Administrator to join their growing team. This role is based at their Head Office and will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

The main purpose of this role is to assist with the planning and allocation of work in both a logistically and cost-effective way. You will be working as part of the Logistics Team and collaborating with the Client Services & Operations Team ensuring that company targets are met while maintaining a high-quality service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning & programming of site visits, liaising/coordinating with Clients, Advisors & Surveyors, gaining access information including; managing key availability, booking appointments with clients and gaining confidential information.

  • Working closely with other members of the Logistics team, collating and updating all relevant information and entering into the diary and database site notes etc.

  • Arranging Advisors/Surveyors diaries/workload/travel, bearing in mind costs involved to make the works cost effective. Then sorting and managing the database as necessary.

  • Booking hotels for overnight stays.

  • Maintaining good communications with Client Services and Operations to ensure Logistics and Allocations operations are conducted effectively and efficiently.

  • Provide a high level of customer care and support that promotes and reflects the image of the business.

  • Meet and exceed targets/deadlines that may be set by the Logistics Manager.

  • Undertake any key projects and other operational activity as required.

  • Undertake any other duties within your capability as required.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working within an office environment is essential.

  • Previous experience working within a logistics/route planning role is preferred but not essential.

  • To have a friendly and confident telephone manner when speaking with Clients and Advisors & Surveyors.

  • To be confident working in a busy office environment.

  • Be able to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
