Senior Sales Administrator

Based in Preston, my expanding successful client is on the lookout for a Senior Sales Administrator to join their growing and friendly close knit team.


The day to day duties of this role on the Sales Admin Team is to allocate tasks to the members on the team, ensure KPI's are met, drive improvement amongst the team, team training and reporting to management any Customer Service issues.

  • Reports & Analysis Support to Sales Team


Job role responsibilities:



  • General office duties such as answering the phone and other duties assigned by the management

  • Raising orders for both UK and European customers in a timely manner

  • Dealing with customer enquiries by phone, email and fax.

  • Dealing with any queries from sales managers.

  • Main point of contact for customer service issues

  • Arranging transportation for UK and European customer orders.

  • Issuing documentation for transportation.

  • Document Filing/Archiving

  • Customers/agent communications

  • Setting up new customers price lists + New customer welcome pack

  • Providing customer quotation regularly + Updating and Maintaining Customer Price Lists

  • Back orders follow ups and updates

  • Sales reports/figures analysis

  • Cost/Price reduction requests

  • Gross Margin report analysis

  • Analysing product movement

  • Answering any Director's queries


Experience/Qualification Requirements:



  • Great Attention to detail

  • Leadership skills and experience

  • Export Incoterms and European shipping documentation working knowledge - essential

  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)

  • European Language skills - essential

  • Educated to Degree level - desired

  • Experience in using Oracle ERP - desired

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Export Account Management


Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per year depending on experience
