Senior Programme Manager - Compliance & Policies

Joining an global online retailer, you will be working closely with legal teams and risk and compliance teams across the EU to develop and execute programs and develop mechanisms to effectively mitigate risks with delivery service providers. This will involve creating, aligning, and enforcing delivery service policies to ensure high standards.



You will drive standards across all EU countries, which requires effective partnerships, alignment, and influence across all levels, as well as understanding operations and delivery service providers.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop effective processes, mechanisms and tech solutions to address and mitigate risks with delivery service providers

  • Manage projects and programs, implementing the risk mitigation solutions in cooperation with legal, local in-country operations and tech teams

  • Identify and negotiate third parties needed to improve operational compliance

  • Pro-actively identify risks and propose mitigation actions

  • Ensure alignment of all delivery service policies across EU and own the process flow for any needed changes or updates



About you:



  • Experience in the express/parcel delivery industry or the transportation/ third party logistics industry or a similar fast-paced logistics/distribution environment e.g. in the logistics department of a retail organisation

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams

  • Be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.

  • Be able to analyse quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritise

  • Possess sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others

  • Possess strong analytical thinking skills

  • Willingness to travel


Experience in the below would be a bonus but not essential:



  • Background in audit and compliance

  • Experience in account management of third parties

  • Experience in working in international environments
