Salary Up to £25,000 dependant on experience

Hours 37.5 hrs per week - 8.30-5pm Mon-Thur, 4.30pm finish on Fridays. Possibility of flexible working hours for the right person

Benefits 25 days annual leave + additional day off for birthday + Bank Holidays + long service days

The Company

An established, leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor who operate throughout the South West with 3 regional offices, and over 100 staff, are looking to employ an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Office Administrator

The Role

The Senior Office Administrator will assist with the smooth running of the business by providing support to the senior management team and contracts managers. Customer service, time management and problem-solving skills are important in this role, demonstrating the ability to discuss proactive solutions whilst collaborating effectively within the team.

Key Responsibilities

� PA Duties to Directors / Senior Management Team

� Managing a junior admin to support and progress their development

� Preparation of presentation and qualitative submission documents

� Look after all aspects of day-to-day admin duties including diary management, booking training courses, arranging meetings, booking travel and accommodation, arranging client & internal events, greeting customers / clients

� Manage the administrative aspects of our trade apprentice development programme

� Office admin duties such as answering phone calls and door entry, stock control, ordering of PPE and organising stationary / office supplies

� Keeping data systems up to date

� Ensure that document control procedures are maintained and managed

� Working with the contract management team to produce programmes, sub contract orders, purchase orders, site health and safety information

� Manage the production of project O&M manuals in line with project completion dates

� Collate client KPI's and produce management reports

� Support the business' Social Value and Corporate Responsibility targets through engagement and charitable events.

� Provide first aid and fire marshal roles within the office

� Full training for the role will be provided

Essential Skills

� Must be eligible to work in the UK

� Knowledge of office systems, and procedures

� Knowledge all Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

� Personable, proactive and confident

� Excellent written and verbal and communication skills

� Well presented with a good work ethic


� Valid UK driving licence

� Previous experience of working in a similar role in the construction industry
