Senior Insight Specialist - Retail, temp ongoing

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deeply understand retail/brand challenges in the product to market process.

  • Responsible for maintaining a customer-centric focus and continuous value delivery for each account of responsibility.

  • Coordinate with Key Account Manager, Sr. Director-Key Account Management- Insight Delivery, and Customers in execution of account strategy to deliver the highest possible value through best practice use of software solution and provide consistent, dedicated account support.

  • With Senior Director and internal functional teams, provide support and service through efficient and effective coordination and allocation of resources to optimally engage and deliver accurate results and value to the customer and business

  • Attend weekly internal team meetings to deeply understand strategy, challenges, process(es), calendar, metrics of success, and overall account and value potential for each customer account as it relates to Insight builds.

  • Provide continuous training, structure, guidance and support to customer to enable greatest understanding of the process and assets needed for success within that customer organization. Communicate effectively with customer to enable continual growth and increased value delivery. Communicate effectively with Key Account Manager and Senior Directors to support account strategy, effective execution and overall success for the account/customer.

  • Provide formal and informal training and mentoring for new team members in Insight building - tactical and strategic steps for execution and delivery of optimal Insights according to best practice.

  • Seamlessly monitor, document, and report on build metrics, activities leading to improved process, increased team knowledge and value delivery to customer. Report metrics weekly.

  • Audit Insights for best practice. Identify root cause for non-compliance findings. Communicate with, and support team, in remediation and prevention of repeated non-compliance.

  • Support Key Account Management team to monitor and report on testing usage within contract testing obligations. Monitor and report to Senior Director on third party testing.

  • Identify opportunities, engage and coordinate with internal team, to successfully manage account(s) leading to increased use of tool, increased value to the customer and to business

  • Continually increase in knowledge and understanding of tool updates, data use, metrics of success, analysis and results correlation to item performance

  • Engage internal resources to address all challenges, be prepared to offer solutions and to team problem solve. Be organized, document plan(s) and communication to support accounts and team to success.

  • Build excellent customer and team relationships. Communicate effectively with customer through use of email and phone calls.

  • Responsible for completing complex and special projects to support the team, the customer and business in delivering excellence.

  • Ensure compliance of policy, process, and procedure.

  • Industry/role relevant degree

  • Experience in retail/business

  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Power Point, Excel

  • Organized, analytic, Problem solver

  • Willing and able to travel 10% - not required in all cases
