Senior Events Marketing Executive

Shad Thames

£37-40k

Hours: can be flex 8-4:30, 8:30-5:00 or 9-5:30pm

Hybrid working - 2 days home and 3 days office

An events company producing high-level networking events worldwide reporting on the latest technology breakthroughs.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

• Attend team meetings


• Research best channels to market (such as new social media, digital apps and media partners)


• Copywriting for DM's and emails


• Create targeted internal data selection for mail based on in house data


• Source new data when necessary


• Contact potential marketing partners to set up deals


• Build relationships


• Work with sponsors to promote conferences


• Maintain contact with suppliers


• Manage dm's


• Manage print and mailings


• Write and send press realises to ensure maximum PR coverage


• Send e mail campaigns


• Monitor response of marketing activity


• Create unique reference links for campaigns


• Handovers to telesales person


• Post event analysis 2 weeks after events


• Create banners and all aspects of campaigns

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Effective communication


• Previous Senior Marketing experience


• Great at building relationships


• Key eye for competitor movements


• Flexibility


• Confident


• Ability to work independently and in team
